The Festival is excited to partner with local musicians to sponsor a new event: Folk Day, an afternoon of delight for anyone who loves folk music of all types. Two stylistically-unique duos – Medicinal Purposes and Kampfire Kings – will entertain from 2 p.m until 5 p.m . FY5, well-known performers from Colorado, will then take the stage for two hours of music that combines smooth harmonies and virtuosic picking and fiddling into a sound that evolved from traditional folk, honky-tonk, and the bluegrass school. To add to the enjoyment, Galena Main Street Cheesecake will have non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and sandwiches available for purchase. An afternoon not to be missed!
