Wes Luke will perform extremely virtuosic, high-romantic violin music selected from the Ysaye sonatas. While explaining important aspects of the music, this personable artist will present an energetic, but accessible, program that will delight. Wes is a violinist and educator who performs and teaches across the upper Midwest. He currently serves as the Principal Second Violinist in the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Concertmaster of the La Crosse (Wisconsin) Symphony Orchestra, and regularly plays in the Wisconsin Philharmonic, where he has also served as Concertmaster
